DTCGeneralConfiguration

The DTC Configuration panel is broken down into sections:

General

General
  • Use Javascript (Y/N): This is typically set to "yes" on a production server.
  • Use SSL (Y/N): This setting will enable or disable the use of SSL for the interface.
  • Use @domain.com FTP Logins (Y/N): If set to yes, FTP user names will be an entire email address as opposed to just the login name of the user. For example, if its set to "no" then a user would use a plain user name like "eriks" and if it is set to "yes" then something like "eriks@example.com" would be required as an FTP login user name.
  • Use @domain.com SSH Logins (Y/N): If set to yes, SSH user names will be an entire email address as opposed to just the login name of the user. For example, if its set to "no" then a user would use a plain user name like "eriks" and if it is set to "yes" then something like "eriks@example.com" would be required as an SSH login user name.
  • User Session Expire Time (mn): This is simply the number of minutes a user may be idle without being required to log back in. You should consider a reasonable amount of time, but not too much since it can lead to security issues when dealing with users on public or unsecured terminals. Typically, this setting is good when between 10 and 20 minutes.

Deamon

Note: This setting defaults the whole server. If you want to set a different order for an individual site you need to use a .htaccess file. See this how to.
