Testing your SASL SMTP server

Testing your SMTP with auth can take a long time if you don't use some specific tools. Best is to use the smtptest software from the cyrus-clients-2.2 package. Just use it like this:

   smtptest -m CRAM-MD5 -a user@example.com localhost
